Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, finally launched his eagerly awaited artificial intelligence startup, xAI, on Wednesday. The company's team consists of engineers that Musk sourced from significant American technology companies in an effort to compete with them and develop a ChatGPT competitor.

Musk believes that by encouraging the AI to be extremely interested, any risks associated with AI development will be reduced and the AI's behaviour will naturally fit with human standards.
